| - to get $1k after tax per wk, you need an before tax income of around $68,000 pa.
- the average salary is $45k pa. so need to find $23k pa somewhere else.
- the average return of investment (ASX) over the past 20 years has been smoothed out to be around 15%.
- therefore you need $154k invested to generate $23k pa.
- 154k needs a minimum of 6-7 yrs to accrued on a 45k income.
- thus if the average person started work on an average salary at 22 yrs old.
- he/she should be able to be on $1k/wk base by the time he/she turns 30.
assumptions
- he or she will not get a promotion in the mean time.
- he or she dont give a damn about inflation and that 1k by the time he or she reaches 30 is only worth $700 which is bearly enough to survive.
- assumption that the ASX will actually generate 15% annually.
- tax laws dont change within the next 10 yrs.

for the record i am officially off the singles market, and has been so for a while, and will be so for the foreseeable future. however, an agreement was reached to keep our status in secret so i am not at liberty to disclose too much details other then the fact i am not single anymore.

later i was on the elevator, this girl a few steps on top keep turning around. then she giggled, smiled and said
'i think your very good looking, mind grabbing my number?'

| omg... i just noticed... i love stress! work has been pretty bludgy previously, laid back, facebook/msn/reading news etc. now its alot more stressful, i have a KPI, i have a target, i have drive to make a sale, i want more time to work and learn and better my self. want to be more efficient. b4 time at work craws slowly and i procracinate like crazy. now its 2 hrs in and it felt like 30 minutes! gonna miss my KPI this week... stress, damn i love this feeling. love a challange.
i vowled i will be the best sales person. i am going to train my self up, i am going to be confident, i am going to be sociable and i am going to be unstoppable!!!
